Infrared Burners
Infrared Burners | Air Heating | Liquid Heating | Packaged | High Temperature Heating | Oil & Dual Fuel | Burner Repair Services
Metro Services, Incorporated carries a large line of commercial and industrial burners. Applications include ovens, furnaces, kilns, fryers and air heaters. Sizes range from our small packaged burners of 200,000 btu/hr to our larger burners rated in excess of 2 million btu/hr. Fuel sources include natural gas, propane, butane and fuel oil. If you have a special situation that calls for a different size of burner or a different type of fuel please contact our engineering department.
Infrared burners allow you to economically increase production rates by speeding up your process. Infrared heating also allows you to target specific areas with intense heat or simply provide uniform heat to the entire product. Gas fired infra-red heaters are highly efficient producers of infra-red energy that can be used in numerous heating applications. Their greatest uses to date have been in the heating of industrial and commercial buildings, spot and area heating, commercial food broiling and cooking and in process heating ovens.
Premix Infrared Burners
Two models- radiant wire screen or radiant ceramic element. Can be manifolded to provide a large radiant panel. Suitable for numerous industrial drying and heating applications.

Red Ray QC-12H
Special quick cooling and durable ceramic tile is used. (It is not a fiber matrix) Excellent resistance to water and thermal shock damage. Heat input for the QC-12 is 20,400 BTU/section/hr. @ 4" w.c. manifold pressure. Burner face provides a wide radiating area of 48.5/in2/section. Durable gray iron casting eliminates the need for a cooling plenum. Sections can be attached to a manifold horizontally or vertically using our patented three-piece union connector. Manifolded burners can be installed in any position. Burners are simple to install on new or retrofit systems. |
